About Shaquile

I am a teacher who has work in the field of youth development for years since high school. I also have my undergraduate degree in youth development as well and am currently completing my masters for special education for grades 1-6. For the past 4 years, I have taught at NYC public schools in 5th grade ELA and history as well. I also have experience teaching at the collegiate level as well. Prior to teaching, I was a resident advisor for students ranging from ages 14-24. I specialized in not only academic support but also socio-emotional support as well. I also have experience in working as a live-in supervisor for children in a group home where I acted as their legal guardians for a year. Aside from care and academic education, I was also responsible for the aesthetics of the infrastructure as well, this includes cleaning and organizing houses and residencies.
