About Shaqonda

I'm a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver with over 10 years of experience caring for seniors. My passion for caregiving began when someone I loved could no longer walk or do many things independently. I stepped up, educated myself, and learned how to provide the best care possible. That experience showed me that caregiving was truly my calling. I have experience with personal care, mobility and transfers, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, exercise and therapy routines, appointments, and companionship. I'm also BLS certified and always prioritize safety, dignity, comfort, and independence. I care for my clients the way I would want someone to care for my own loved one. I value trust, communication, and building genuine relationships with my clients and their families. Outside of caregiving, I enjoy spending time with my family and continuing my education to grow in my career.
