About Shantell

I am a mom of 3 children aged 4, 6, and 8. My middle child has numerous disabilities including ADHD and severe aggression disorder. Before having children of my own, I was a babysitter for a family from my church who had 2 boys with ADHD and autism. When I started working for them, their oldest was 3 and their other son had not been born. They loved me so much that I became their permanent babysitter and I worked for them for 8 years. Unfortunately for me, their oldest is able to care for their youngest now so I am no longer needed as their babysitter, however I view them as a second family to me so we stay in touch. When the boys were younger I enjoyed doing everything with them such as going to the park or on hikes after school, riding bikes with them, cheering them on during their baseball games, playing with train sets and building legos, baking cookies during christmas time, and I even allowed them to chase me around their home on their indoor bicycles.
