About Shanshahi
Experience: 10 yrs
I am retired environmental Engineer, worked with the State of Delaware for 5 years and with the City of Philadelphia for 14 years. I received my M. Sc in Engineering from the Rutgers Engineering University of New Brunswick in 1991. I am also EIT certified. I prefer to teach one on one, or in small groups. I am very passionate about teaching science subjects, and when children are excited and learn, this gives me quite a satisfaction. I have more than 15 years of tutoring experience from my high school till I graduated. (1973 1990) For the parents convenient, AS of 1995, I am residing in NE Philadelphia. I am a very grateful mother, that I have two boys, 28 and 25 yrs old. I am friendly, simple, hardworking, very passionate about teaching. Shanshahi has been instrumental in ensuring that my daughter understands the math ( Geometry, Algebra 1 and 2) concepts she is studying in school. We are so thankful we found her!!! My daughter enjoys going to her and enjoys the one to one interaction. Shanshahi is an excellent tutor who has a vast knowledge and understanding of all math subjects . Very kind and friendly. She walks my daughter through the concepts and shows her all the different ways a problem can be presented . I would highly recommend her to any student.
