About Shannon

Hi, my name is Shannon and I go by Shanti. I am an experienced Waldorf Teacher and artist who is devoted to providing a safe space for children to thrive in. I am 34 years of age and have a wide breadth of experience with caring for young children. My strengths include singing with children, creating art, spending time connecting with the elements and telling stories. Listening to children is a fundamental part of my approach to childcare. I allow children to be themselves while ensuring safety, sustenance and supervision are provided. I truly am a modern day Mary Poppins and will take children into the magical land of the imagination through spontaneous play and bountiful creativity. It is my joy to teach morality through modeling kindness and compassion. I also have three years of professional cleaning experience and am a healthy chef so I bring balance and harmony into a household.
