Shannon is an outstanding caregiver who over 6 years has shown us that she is experienced, reliable, trustworthy, committed to maintaining the highest attainable physical and mental health of our 93-year-old mother, extremely positive, and creative. Shannon is excellent about keeping us informed about all matters, big and small, related to our mother's health and living situation, and she is very responsive to any inquiries we may have. She is organized and disciplined in her care delivery—ensuring vital signs readings are taken daily, ensuring a healthy diet is provided each day, and ensuring a safe environment. She maintains detailed logs on her patient’s health and health encounters, and she is an integral part of the health team responsible for our mother's care and well-being. For example, she is diligent in ensuring the proper medication is administered at the right time (morning, noon and evening) and in the right doses. She has been a strong patient advocate on our mothers’ behalf with other health care providers. Shannon is also patient with our mother when she is not in the most cooperative state of mind, and she is a caregiver who becomes very personally attached to her patient.
