About Shannon

My name is Shannon, I have been a baby sitter since I was 13 years old, and I have over 10 years experience in summer camp management and childcare from my experience at Camp Norse in Kingston, MA. I have experience with children from toddlers to teens, and I often was responsible for caring for 10-15 at a time. Nowadays, I like to work with smaller groups of 1-5 children at the most. Through this experience, I have worked with children with a variety of needs, from mobility to learning disabilities to those on the spectrum. I also have several years experience leading educational programs for teens and young adults on how to be an LGBTQ ally. I am comfortable leading educational activities and helping with lessons and homework. I worked as a math and English tutor while in high school and college. I love to spend my personal time creating and crafting - which is a joy I am happy to share with any children!
