About Shannon

I'd describe my personality as fun, patient and accepting I like tutoring because I'm able to help break down challenging concepts and deliver them in a relevant style, using my own passion for the subject to guide the students understanding. I'm looking for a job that allows me to share my passion for anatomy and physiology, while supporting students in their learning journey, and providing the conditions for their success! In my spare time, I am outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing. I love to spend time with my husband and my two grown daughters as well as volunteering and giving back. I love to lose myself in creative processes, such as sewing and quilting! One thing you should know about me is I bring humor and ease into what could be considered challenging topics. I am very approachable, professional, responsive, and compassionate to the learning process. I too have received the benefits from tutoring when I needed it so I understand the value ofthese services!
