Hello! I am a college student who misses spending time with kids. I grew up babysitting for our neighbors' kids whom I have cared for since they were born (The youngest are now 10!). I also worked at the Karate Studio I trained at during High School. Before college I spent a gap year volunteering at an orphanage in Ngong, Kenya and assisting at a Primary School in Yenzuva, Kenya. I am recently home from spending two semesters in Tanzania studying Swahili and my host parents' grandchildren were one of the best parts. I am empathetic and would love to get to know your kids. I am dependable and driven and would enjoy working with you to give your children the best care possible. I am relationship oriented, so a recurring job is preferred. I have known Shannon for 15 years. She is a close family friend who has babysat my 3 children (2 boys, 1 girl) for several years (since they were 2 years old). She is great at connecting with kids, has lots of games to play, is full of energy and fun, and doesn't pull out her phone. My kids still love her and go over to visit her, even though they no longer need a babysitter. Shannon always cleaned up after the kids and herself, showed up on time, and was respectful. I have nothing but praise for her and would recommend her to anyone.
