About Shannon

I'm a veterinary technologist with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology, and while my career has focused on animal care, my roots are in childcare. I have been working with kids since I was a teenager myself. I spent years babysitting for a neighbor's daughter, watching her grow from a young girl into someone I felt like I had a real part of in raising. Alongside that, I worked as a babysitter through NannyTucket, an Afterschool Program Assistant supervising groups of 5 and 6-year-olds, and a Camp Counselor overseeing groups of up to 15 kids ages 5-7. What sets me apart is the mix of patience, structure, and genuine warmth I bring to every kid I care for. My veterinary training has also sharpened my instincts for noticing when something's off, whether that's a child's mood or just knowing when a situation calls for extra attention.
