About Shannon

I've been working with children for more than 10 years. I spent 5 years working for a wonderful private preschool in South Austin where I cared for children 18 months to 5 years old, helping them grow into themselves while focusing on social and emotional learning, as well as the basics; i. e. changing clothes, eating, potty training. I have also nannied for infants as young as 3 months old. I have my teachers certification in EC-6 (early childhood through 6th grade), Special Education, and ESL (English as a second language). I enjoy getting to know children of all ages, listening to their thoughts and hopes and sharing with them mine as well. I believe that if we expect children to grow into kind, caring people we need to treat them as such as soon as they are born. I have a 4yr old daughter and my son was born December of 2022. He will be joining me as I nanny.
