Being a nanny has never been just a job for me. I have a passion for helping children learn and grow into capable, thoughtful, honest, curious little people! My goal is to make a positive and lasting effect on their lives. I believe my responsibility to the kids I watch is to be much more than just their nanny. I aspire to be their role model, their educator, to encourage healthy eating and eating habits, to be able to teach them how to problem solve and show them how to have strong interpersonal skills. Last but not least, I try to be as up for new adventures and getting messy as they are! I admire the Montessori Method and positive discipline approaches and try to implement them when I can. I have been a nanny for 8 years and in childcare for more than 14. For the past 10 years, I have also enjoyed volunteering in my church nursery and teaching in the preschool room. Shannon was so sweet and instantly bonded with my toddler when she came to interview. I would have loved to hire her but unfortunately it didn't work out due to commute reasons. Hope you can make space for her in your family.
