About Shannon

I'm Shannon. I am very friendly, patient, and understanding. I know that elderly care can be difficult because sometimes it may feel like they're losing their independence and freedom. That being said I always try to make anyone I am caring for feel like they still have control I am just they're arms and legs now. I have over 3 years caring for my grandfather who had the onset of dementia and prostate cancer. I would listen to his same stories over and over like I heard them all for the first time.... and it didn't bother me once I loved it. I also had to care for my mom on and off through the years due to her Congestive Heart Failure. I may not have as much experience as others, but I have the empathy.
