About Shannon

Hello! My name is Shannon and I am currently a first grade teacher in the Westchester County, N. Y. area. I have been teaching for 7 years. In addition to teaching first grade, I have experience teaching kindergarten, second grade, and fourth grade. In the summer months, I have experience as a day camp director as well as in tutoring. I have tutored children in various ages across the K-5 grade levels. I love working with children and helping them to succeed and feel confident about learning. I am warm, friendly, and I am passionate about teaching and learning. I enjoy making learning fun and passing my love for learning along to the students I work with.
