About Shannon

Hello! My name is Shannon and I'm a junior at the University of Maryland. I have a passion for working with young children which is why I'm pursuing a degree in early childhood and special education. Through this program and about 6 years of babysitting experience, I have worked with children anywhere between the ages of 5 months to 12 years old, ranging in ability level including those with special needs. I love playing games, doing crafts, and learning more about the children to engage in their interests. My schedule is scattered based on my class schedule, but I am willing to be flexible and can help with tasks ranging from housekeeping to grocery shopping to pick-up and drop-off. I am also a pet owner myself and very comfortable being around all pets.
