About Shannon

I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow. With years of experience working with children, I have developed a deep understanding of child development and the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in. I prioritize the well-being and happiness of the children in my care, always making sure to engage them in fun and educational activities. I strive to create a positive and engaging experience for every child I work with. I started working with kids when I was 15 as a babysitter. At 17, I began working in a childcare facility until I graduated college and became a teacher in an elementary school. I am finishing up my third year as a 2nd grade teacher. In my free time, I like to spend time with my husband and our two dogs. I enjoy traveling, going to concerts and spending time with family and friends. Two of my favorite things to do on a free day are to go shopping + get my nails done with my mom.
