About Shannon

In California I worked for Momentum Work Inc. For 15 yeas. I worked with adults with mental and/or physical disabilities in our Applied Abilities Program and then became a supervisor. I work with some senior clients as well in our Homes. I really love working with more mature people because they can be very funny, sometimes sarcastic and down right challenging. Plus I love to cook, have conversations, go places and play games. But most of all I'm tired of seeing them being taken advantage of. Thats the main reason I got into the field of taking care of individuals with disabilities. I know it sounds cliché but, I just love helping people and seeing them smile. I'm an upbeat person with a can do attitude and I feel if someone is down, I can usually change their mood eventually over the course of the day.
