Hello, My name is Shannel and I am an RN. I recently moved to Chicago this past March from the DC area. I'm passionate about caring and helping others. I have over 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse working with various illness, treatments and people. I worked as a float nurse in a hospital and pretty much worked in every department such Emergency Department, Transplant unit, general medical/Surgical floor, and post op. Im very confident in my skills as ive seen and worked in so many different scenarios Before becoming an RN I was also a CNA, so I am very experienced with daily living needs. I am BLS/CPR certified as well. In my previous jobs work before graduating nursing school I worked with children, elderly people with dementia and cancer, and disabled people on this app. My experience is very broad and I know that I can be a great help for you if you are still looking for help. She is very pleasant, but very green. Hired her to help me post major abdominal surgery with chores and help my handicapped mother. When i needed her to step up, She didn't. When I asked her to step up, she told me she refused to be my house maid, when all I ever asked her to do was vacuum (I'm not allowed to lift a vacuum for 6 weeks post surgery). And asked her to help by cleaning the bathrooms once... since she never operated a dishwasher before and told me the only thing she could cook was a banana strawberry spinach smoothie. She came 5 minutes late and left early. Never asked if there was anything I needed help with... and took it as an insult if I asked her to help out more. I do not recommend her.
