Hi all! My name is Shanna and I would love to help you with the world's greatest job: raising your little ones. I have over 10 years of experience with nanny work. I have been babysitting since I was in high school and taking regular nanny jobs since I was in college, when I would work summers as a nanny. I have experience with all ages but primarily with toddler-preschool age. I am a supporter of gentle parenting and believe in respect for children as individuals while maintaining firm boundaries as they learn and grow. I believe that nannies are meant to be teammates and that open communication with parents and families is one of the most important parts of a nanny's job. Outside of work, I love to crochet, sing, and play games (both board games and video games). I have a deep love for learning and exploring and believe that adults could learn a lot from the way children approach the world. I would love to get to know you and your little one(s)!

Shanna took care of our son from 6 months to just over 2 years. Our son absolutely adores her and she quickly became an extension of our family. Shanna clearly loves taking care of kids and puts alot of thought into activities and learning beyond just "watching him" while we worked. She spoke to our son constantly even before he learned to speak and as a result he spoke really early which really reinforces her skills as a nanny. Highly recommend
