About Shaniya

Hi! I'm Shaniya, a junior at the University of Tennessee majoring in Elementary Education. I've always loved working with kids, and my dream is to become a kindergarten teacher. I've been babysitting since I was 12 and have experience as a Youth Counselor at the Boys & Girls Club, a substitute teacher for Knox County Schools, a youth cheer coach, and a volunteer in elementary classrooms. I'm also CPR certified and a licensed CNA. I love doing crafts, reading books, playing outside, helping with homework, and planning fun activities that keep kids learning and having fun. I'm patient, dependable, and always strive to make children feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and be someone you can count on!
