About Shanice

I'd describe my personality as patient, calm, optimistic. I like working with kids because they keep me grounded and curious about the ways in which the world operates around us. They are innovative. They are funny. They are informed and make great debaters. They deserve to be in safe environments that encourage their curiosity and creativity. I'm looking for a job that has schedule flexibility, a healthy and considerate environment. I started working with kids in 2018 when I was apart of the Mosaic Youth Theatre . Recently, ive done a lot of work at Near North Montessori with children ages 3-6 and 9-12 years old. In my spare time, I lole to sit out by the water. I enjoy writing and listening to music. Spending time with my cat. Tuning in to a podcast or watching a YouTube vlog. My skills include positive behavior guidance, age-appropriate communication, child development knowledge. I am CPR certified. I have my own vehicle that is insured.
