I worked in a daycare/nanny/teaching environment for over 6 years. Children are my world and I love to be apart of theirs. In being a teacher & nanny I planned everyday activities, cooked, made sure the parents where very confident and happy with my services. I talked with children on an eye to eye level, I believe that that's the way you interact with a child and the way you show success to a child will be their guide in life. I worked for a company called Feed The Children for 10 years which was a Mon-Fri care for children where we cooked, boxed, packaged and spent the summer times of each year with children. I have also done some nanny positions. I have also been a head teacher/ assistant director at Bright Stars Learning Center I house-keep, activity planning, cooking and more. Shanell has great references and interviewed well for my family. She had good interactions with my children. I initially had concerns over her interest in our job from a lack of response and priority to get paperwork back to me. However, she was apologetic and then completed the paperwork. Unfortunately, after a $300 background check was completed, she emailed me to tell me that she would not be able to work for me because of an illness in her family. She only gave 48hrs notice through an email. Her background check was clean however.
