I have an BA from UW. I have an MFA in English. I've taught at UMass Amherst; local colleges; Pisa, Italy; Cambridge and Canterbury, England. I'm fluent in Italian. I've tutor all subjects, including math and science for 40+ years. I offer tutoring through video calls and in person. I can help you set up your own home-school or teach in yours. I have successfully helped children with their classes. I have a library of children's books and teaching materials. I use additional materials to help students. I have turned my yard into an organic fruit and vegetable garden/ science lab for studying botany, agronomy, chemistry, biology, etc.. I teach no-dig gardening to adults and to young people for growing cut flowers, roses, dahlias, vegetables. I teach physics/ chemistry experiments in my garage and kitchen. I taught K-12, all subjects, to my now college honors student son with mostly with a Waldorf-friendly home school curriculum. I charge $30/hr.
