Goofy, enthusiastic, fun-loving care giver in the Chicago area. Hi there! My name is Shane, and I have 10+ years of experience caring for children of all ages. Coming from a large family, I've been doing (and loving) childcare for as long as I can remember. I have worked as a pre-school drama and Spanish teacher, using my guitar to narrate creative play. In college, I administrated theatre for young audiences, performing and creating artistic programming for children on the spectrum. I have also worked as a counselor at Frogwarts School of Wizardry, which is to say, silliness, play, crafts and song are things I will happily bring to any home. As a former stage manager, I also take my work very seriously, as I am used to managing and prioritizing the immediate safety of those around me. I am also a very clean person who would be more than happy to help with tasks around the house! I'm one of those weirdos who loves laundry. I am 4x vaccinated and still take COVID safety seriously.

WE LOVE SHANE!! They are one of the best sitters we've had. Our youngest is quite anxious, and doesn't love to be left without mom and dad, but he always seems to have a blast with Shane. They have been so dependable and fun for our growing family.
