Hello, my name is Shana and I am a recent college grad who is new to the area. I am the type of girl who will you stop you on the street to pet your animal and provide you with some random facts about animals. I have been pet sitting since I was 14 and working with animals at an early age. I mainly work with household pets such as cats, dogs, rodents, and a few reptiles. However I have also had experience working with sheep, goats, and horses. I worked with the Animal Care and Control for Charlotte Mecklenburg and I also did volunteer work at the humane society. I have given animals insulin shots, medication of various sorts, grooming, and help training puppies. I have also helped nurse small kittens multiple times, the youngest litter being 3 days old. When it comes to dog sitting I find it important to take the dogs on at least two walks during the day.
