About Shamonn

I'd describe my personality as responsible, protective and resourceful. I like working with kids because I believe it teaches humility and responsibility. It is not a light thing to work with children and I aim to support families in the best way I can. I'm looking for a job that will work with my schedule. I started working with kids when I was a teenager . However, I credit my time as a Summer Camp Counselor as one of my first official paid "childcare" positions. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, enjoy the outdoors and spend time with my family. I'm a big sister so I try and spend time with my sibling as much as I can. One thing you should know about me is that my ultimate goal is to support the parents and the children. For the time the children are under my care, my main objective is to ensure the child's safety. My skills include creativity, resourcefulness, and being nurturing. I believe in utilizing all my strengths, but adjusting the need depending on the child.
