About Shalamar

Hello! My name is Shalamar. I'm a compassionate CNA and LPN graduate with over 17 years of hands on healthcare experience. Throughout my career and clinical training, I've cared for patients with a variety of medical needs, including Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, dementia, quadriplegia, and other chronic and neurological conditions. I also have experience with tracheostomy care, PEG tubes, wound care, ostomies, hospice/palliative care, total care, and activities of daily living. What I love most about caregiving is building a genuine connection with my patients. I'm naturally friendly, patient, dependable, and easy to get along with. I believe good care should include compassion, conversation, laughter, and making someone feel comfortable and respected in their own home. I pay attention to changes in my patients, and always make their safety, dignity, and well being a priority. I bring experience, professionalism, compassion, and positive energy.
