About Shalaila

Hi, my name is Shalaila and I'm currently in my 2nd year of classes at American River College. I'm 19 years old and I live in Natomas, Sacramento. I have years of experience of working with children. I've been with the City of Sacramento'a 4th "R" after school program for just over a year. Before that, I volunteered for Real Change where I worked in the childcare program. have my own form of transportation, I've also had my license since I was 16 years old. I have a passion for working with children and I'm studying to become a pediatric nurse. I grew up in a big family with babies everywhere, I put an emphasis on family and safety within it. I have the most experience with school age children, from ages 3-12. I'm a mandated reporter and I'm excited to work with new families and create new connections. Thank you!
