About Shaina

Hi! I'm Shaina, but you can call me Shai (Shay)! I've been around children for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a brother eight years younger than me, spent several summers as a camp counselor, and later worked as a nanny. I also spent several years as a studio family photographer, working hands-on with newborns, babies, and children of all ages. I'm now an artist and would love to bring that creativity into my time with your child through art, sensory activities, reading, imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and outings! I believe in interactive care that helps children feel safe, engaged, encouraged, and excited about their day. I respect each family's routines, parenting style, and communication preferences. I'm currently available after 2 PM, with potential for longer hours in the future. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable driving children. I'd love to learn more about your family!
