About Shaila

Hi! My name is Shaila , and I would describe myself as outgoing, punctual, and compassionate! I love working with children because their energy, curiosity, and unique personalities brighten my day. I enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel happy, comfortable, and supported. I began working with children in September 2024 through an after-school program, where I supervised students, assisted with homework, organized activities, and provided meals and snacks. My strongest childcare skills include supervision, educational support, and keeping children engaged. I'm a dedicated and dependable caregiver who prioritizes children's safety and well-being. I'm happy to assist with homework, meals, activities, errands, and other family needs. Outside of childcare, I'm a full-time Forensic Science student at John Jay College. When I'm not studying, I enjoy baking delicious treats! I look forward to connecting with your family!
