About Shahanaz

Hello! My name is Shahanaz, and I am looking for a full-time nanny position in the Evanston/Northshore area. I have over 10 years of professional childcare experience, from working at Covenant Nursery School in Evanston to supporting preschool classrooms with Chicago Public Schools. I recently ended my 10-year tenure as a nanny for a wonderful family of four children in Evanston, and am looking to support a new family with their full-time childcare needs. I am a mother of four, and my children are now aged 18 through 29. I am a kind, empathetic, and creative caregiver. I love all types of games and activites, and most enjoy working with younger children, preferring toddlers 5 years old and younger. I am first aid and CPR certified, I have a minivan and am comfortable transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activites. I have training in and expeirence working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. I also speak Bangla, Hindi, and Urdu.
