I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, compassionate, and easygoing. I like working with kids because they are the most fun inhabitants of planet earth! They say funny things, and they get to be exactly who they are. I'm looking for a job that allows me to impact a kids life positively, within the confines of the comfort of the parent and child and allow for continuity of care from the parents. I started working with kids when I was a kid! I've always babysat but then I pursued it as a career as a pediatric nurse. In my spare time, I like to read (mostly classic literature-Brontë, Rumi). I like to garden and love finding plants on their last legs and bringing them back to life. One thing you should know about me is I come from a diverse background and respect all cultures and others' homes. My skills include compassionate redirection, facilitating independence, and communicating my point of view and listening for understanding. Also, I'm CPR, BLS, ACLS certified.
