Hi there! My name is Serenity, and I'm 23 years old. I have been babysitting neighbors and family friends since I was 12, and my mom has also babysat at home most of my childhood, so I have a lot of experience. In addition to my almost 12 years of experience, I have completed early childhood development course work in high school and college, although I do not have a degree. I am very patient with children, including children with special needs as my brother has autism. I have experience in a licensed childcare center as a toddler teacher, and the last 3 years I have been a private nanny and household manager for infants to school aged children. Serenity is very sweet with my four children. She is kind, compassionate, very dependable. She has no problem with entertaining the kids, but also not afraid to set boundaries. I find that helpful, because I don't like to come home from a night out and find that my kids had control and ran amuck while I was out. I appreciate that she doesn't let my kids talk her into shenanigans while Mom and Dad are away. I highly recommend her and will continue using her in the future.
