About Serena

Hi there! I'm a natural caregiver, I've always been drawn to nurturing and supporting children's growth. With experience as a childcare provider as well as being a mother, I bring a blend of patience, adaptability, and a nurturing spirit to my role with others. I'm friendly and approachable which allows me to build strong relationships with children and their families. I am CPR certified and a former EMT so I feel confident in my emergency management. I'm versed in all safety procedures and certified in allergen procedures, as well as sleep and food safety. I'm currently getting my Montessori Teaching education, I am self trained for 0-2yrs but getting my formal primary education for 3-6yrs. I describe myself as an authoritative person and true to what real "gentle parenting" means and feel confident in my ability to hold boundaries when children test them while still enforcing household rules, ensuring that children feel supported and guided in a consistent and calm manner.
