About Serena

Hello, my name is Serena. I am a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a commercial pilot. I am responsible, dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy working with children. I have experience caring for children ages 6-11 through my work at the Boys & Girls Club in Clermont, Florida, where I supervised children and kept them engaged through reading, arts and crafts, sports, movies, and other activities. I also worked as an elementary school tutor while in college, helping children with different subjects and supporting their academic growth. These experiences taught me how to communicate with children, understand their individual needs, and create an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and supported. I understand the trust that comes with caring for someone's child and would treat every child in my care with patience, kindness, and attentiveness.
