About Serena

Hi there! My name is Serena and caring for others has always been more than a job to me-it's a calling. I currently work as a the Director of Memory Care, where I lead a team with the goal of creating meaningful, engaging days for seniors living with Alzheimer's and dementia. Before that, I spent years working hands-on as a Multiple Disabilities teacher for students with special needs, supporting individuals with multiple disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. These experiences have taught me patience, creativity, and how to connect with people in deeply personal ways no matter their age or cognitive ability. I take pride in providing dignified care that makes your loved one feel safe, valued, and understood. Whether it's helping them remember a favorite song, supporting independence with daily routines, or simply sharing a good laugh, I approach every moment with heart.
