About Serena

Hello! My name is Serena, I am 23 years old and a recent college graduate from Carlow University. I have a very deep passion for caring for children and have been working with kids for the past five years. I have worked with children from ages 0 up to age 18, and have worked in a variety of childcare settings such as schools, day-camps, and in family homes. I worked in a special needs elementary classroom for two years and was given an emergency certification to substitute while in this position. This past year, I began nannying for a few different families both during the day and overnight. Not only do I have much experience working with children professionally, but I am the oldest of six kids and have been learning to care for children since I was very young. I am a creative and imaginative person who does not shy away from playing and nurturing the kids I work with, and am very confident in my skills surrounding safety. I'm CPR certified and have reliable transportation as well.
