Sendra said all the right things in the phone interview. She agreed to take the position and showed up on the first day. She seemed pleasant enough, but she spent a lot of time taking pictures of things in the house, which I thought was unusual. Then she wanted to know if there were cameras in the house and if her actions would be monitored. She didn't ask me about the cameras - she asked the other caretaker, who was showing her around. That caretaker told her she didn't know for sure, but she thought there were cameras in the house. After she got that information, she left the house and never returned - and stopped returning my phone calls as well. This sort of behavior is something to be wary of. She was very enthusiastic about the job until she thought her actions might be monitored. I would not hire her again based on this behavior.
