Hello! I am an online student studying communication at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I was born and raised in a small town in Alaska with two younger siblings and a single mom. I grew up babysitting family friends, teachers' children, and my siblings. The summer of my freshman year I was a full-time sitter for an 18-month-old little boy, and was a part-time nanny for two wonderful girls in Santa Barbara - ages 2 and 4. I prefer to take walks, go to parks, beaches, sing and dance with the kids because I grew up with babysitters so I remember what it's like from a child's perspective. I spent my early childhood years in Mexico, so I love the beach and being outside. Some of my favorite things to do are play the guitar, sing, read, and write songs. Selma is so patient, kind and dependable! She took care of my 2&3 year old daughters from 12pm-5pm Monday-Friday. She picked them up from school, helped my younger one go down for a nap, took them to park or zoo and just played around the house and yard. The girls love her and still talk about her 9 months later. She was never late or cancelled last minute! We miss having Selma and her future family is lucky to have her!
