About Selma

Hello! I am an online student studying communication at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I was born and raised in a small town in Alaska with two younger siblings and a single mom. I grew up babysitting family friends, teachers' children, and my siblings. The summer of my freshman year I was a full-time sitter for an 18-month-old little boy, and was a part-time nanny for two wonderful girls in Santa Barbara - ages 2 and 4. I prefer to take walks, go to parks, beaches, sing and dance with the kids because I grew up with babysitters so I remember what it's like from a child's perspective. I spent my early childhood years in Mexico, so I love the beach and being outside. Some of my favorite things to do are play the guitar, sing, read, and write songs.
