I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, and encouraging. I like caring for seniors because it is so rewarding. They have amazing stories and rich inner lives. I'm looking for a job that puts the wellbeing of the senior first. This means allowing an intuitive and empathetic way of caring that is psychologically and medically informed. This looks like, if the client needs more rest on a particular day, they are allowed to rest. I am looking for a role that allows me to care for clients with dignity and kindness. I started caring for seniors 3 years ago. In my spare time, I like to cook, write, make art, and take walks with my dog. One thing you should know about me is I believe in giving the care that I'd want my loved ones to receive and I will always prioritize the wellbeing of those that I am caring for over all else. My skills include cooking homemade meals, encouraging healthy interactive activity, and my calm encouraging way of speaking.
