About Selena

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Selena to care for my two pre-teen children (11 and 14) while also preparing meals for our family. I couldn't be more impressed with her. As a mother herself, she gets it, and has what I define as the “thinking ahead” gene that is critical when dealing with children. From the moment we connected on Care.com, it has been a positive experience. She is timely, over communicates and like I mentioned earlier is extremely thoughtful. Selena is also professional and warm and caring to my children. Two examples that stand out include her baking and surprising my kids with cookies on the first day she met them. Secondly, both kids are in sports, and prior to one of their practices, she asked me if I wanted her to make the kids a smoothie. I MEAN, what else can you ask for, than another mom who is thoughtful and treats your children like her own. Overall, I highly recommend Selena without reservation. In a home with two working parents with demanding jobs, everyday is a balancing act and can be a struggle. Not anymore. Selena has brought a level of calm and peace to my mind and home. So much so, that we have also hired Selena to make me, my husband’s, and our children’s lunches (including a smoothie;) ). I am grateful for Selena and anyone that has the pleasure of hiring her would undoubtedly feel the same.
