A little bit about me: I am 24 years old and from Alaska!! I have always enjoyed being in the outdoors. I am a very social person and very energetic. I find that being outside is crucial for development. I'm a person who will take the kids on walks everyday to get their energy out. I have watched children pretty much my whole life. I have experience with infants and ages up! I've watched multiples, special needs and infants. I feel that trust and honesty is extremely important when working for someone. It is nerve-wracking allowing a complete stranger to watch your kids. It takes a lot of trust, honesty, and the gut to find the nanny you want. I would love to meet in person to see if you'd like me to watch your kids. Selena has been such a fantastic support for our family for the last six months. She is responsible, punctual, professional, communicative, takes direction well, and she welcomes feedback of all kinds. Selena has the most wonderful attitude - always positive and upbeat, even in those tough moments. She is vigilant, making safety a top priority, while also teaching new skills, and allowing for independent play and exploration. Most of all, she is caring, thoughtful and SO patient. When Selena agreed to work with us, our little girl was six months old and going through both stranger danger and separation anxiety - and Selena remained calm and patient through it all. We could not recommend Selena more highly, and we will be bringing her back to babysit as often as we can!
