About Sekyia

I'd describe my personality as vibrant, compassionate, and trustworthy. I like working with kids because I have 3 of my own and love my role as a mom and role model. I love to nurture and provide for those who need guidance and support, especially children, because they are most vulnerable and can easily be mislead. I'm looking for a job that inspires others to be creative, happy, fun, and feel safe in my presence. I started working with kids when I was 18. In my spare time, I like to do fun projects with my children, read, outings, museums, parks, skating, hiking anything that creates an experience to remember. I am reliable with realistic expectations and believe honesty is the best policy. My skills include communication, listening, culturally immersed, safety awareness, activity planning, and behavioral management techniques.
