For the past 16 years, I have worked in the senior living community. During that time I have been a care giver assisting residents with their daily living needs. I assist with showers, dressing, grooming, transitions in and out of bed and wheelchairs, eating, laundry and light housekeeping. I also am a medication technician to residents, distributing prescribed medications at appropriate times of day. I really enjoy working with the senior population because I find they are gracious, respectful, full of wisdom and whit. I believe it's an honor to journey with them during this later stage of life.
