About Savy

I like working with kids because I love seeing the world from a child's perspective and seeing them grow. I love engaging with my own son and seeing how he takes in the world around him - it is absolutely wholesome. I vividly recall a few of my teachers and babysitters that I had as a kid, and they each stood out to me due to their dedication and level of compassion that they showed me. To this day, I still think so highly of them. I think every person should be able to reflect back on their childhood on having had such great teachers and babysitters that have a positive life long impact of their life. In my spare time, I like to read, watch tv with my husband, and play video games. My skills include planning age appropriate arts & crafts projects, working with Montessori principles with toddlers, and providing patience, care and nurture to children of all ages.
