About Savannah

My goal is to empower kids to be curious and respectful, and to give them as much independence as possible. I have > 9 years of professional experience caring for and educating kids. I worked with kids from diverse backgrounds and ages (5-18) as a STEM and Education Specialist for the Boys and Girls Club for 6 years. I was active planning science experiments, getting outside for outdoor education, helping with homework, and crafting. I also worked for two years with babies and toddlers up to 6 years old at a childcare center. Most recently I have been nannying for several families with young children. I genuinely love kids! I enjoy traveling, camping, kayaking, getting outside, board games, crafts, science, and reading. I hold both bachelors and masters degrees, and have a job with the City of Ithaca.
