As a youth, I recalled many times stating emphatically I HATE MATH. That sentiment changed with my 11th grade Math teacher's simplistic and artistic approach to math that made it fun. Inspired by my Math teacher's impact, I started tutoring. I graduated with honors from Southern University Laboratory School and cum laude from Southern University A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2003, I founded a company Math 1 On 1, LLC that provides Math, Physics, and Chemistry tutoring at all levels. My company has employed many college students and recent college graduates as Tutors and empowered hundreds of students increase their math scores. My goal is to help youth to get over the fear of math and move to academic excellence as my Math teacher did for me.
