About Saulena

I have been a caregiver for the past 18 years now, I started in healthcare working with elderly patients with developmental disabilities. I did that for 4 years and the past 14 years, I have been working as a Patient Care Technician caring for elderly men and women in nursing homes, doctor offices, private care homes as well as the hospital. I love caring for people it's the only thing I have ever done. I have lots of experience with catheter care, peri care, ambulating residents, toileting, transfers using gait belt, Hoyer and EZ-lifts, bed bath, showers etc. I also have lots of experience with cancer patients, patients with Alzheimer's/Dementia, diabetes, patients on dialysis, patients who has feeding tubes, trach collar, medication administration and various other health issues. I am able to do all the daily activities that the patient is unable to do for themselves.
