About Sara

Hello! I am a Master's student at Drake where I am working on a graduate degree and earning my teaching license in Secondary Education. I graduated from Iowa State in 2020 with degrees in History and Political Science. Following my degree, I worked for two years leading a garden education program at two elementary schools in Des Moines. I'm an advocate for hands-on learning and enjoy doing fun and interactive activities with kids when I nanny. During the school year I am a substitute teacher in Des Moines Public Schools and Waukee Community School District and work with students of all age ranges, from preschool to high schoolers! I have nannied for over 8 summers of my life, ages 4-14, but am willing to work with any ages for the summer. I am looking for mornings and/or afternoons Mon-Fri.
