About Sara

Hi there! I'm currently a high school substitute teacher as well as a personal aid for a lovely adolescent with ASD, and am looking for the right summer/long term family to connect with! I love working with youth as it is my passion to connect with people and inspire/mentor/assist those at a disadvantage. Working with children excites me because I believe the most important societal contribution is to nurture their self exploration, sense of personal agency and curiosity in the world! I'm studying to be a therapist and love exploring modalities like art and music therapy, ecopsychology and play! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am always learning! Some of my interests include hiking, biking, anything in nature, watercolor painting, anything musical, gardening and yoga! I love animals as well and don't mind caring for yours as needed.
